The Society for Sacred Sexuality is sponsoring a two-day global sacred sex ritual to celebrate the Spring Equinox and revive the ancient Hieros Gamos rite of Babylon & Sumer.

The Spring Equinox marked the beginning of the new year in these early sacred sex societies, and beginning this year, the Society for Sacred Sexuality will celebrate the day with an annual world-wide sacred sex ritual. We will also adjust our calendar to mark the Equinox as Day 1 of 2006 - 'The Year of Sacred Sex Wisdom', which we proclaimed earlier in our Jan. 1 message. Each year on the Equinox, we will inaugurate the New Year, and celebrate it with a global Hieros Gamos ritual.
